Manager positionwill provide proactive instruction in the area
of Food Safety. This position drives corporate food safety strategy to
mitigate risk through implementation of a field level risk based food
safety controls program.
Responsibilities include, but are
not limited to:
implementation of the requirements, policies, procedures, programs and
training components of the food safety system.
as the lead for product recall communications and regulatory
inspections. Assign microbial guidelines and specifications for
for routine decisions related to safety.
the development of training and guidance materials.
new product and reformulation safety evaluations and review
validation, challenge, and shelf-life studies.
revise, and develop food safety documents.
verify, and improve audit program.
the laboratory standardization program.
The successful candidate will
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science required, advanced
3+ year’s prior relevant work experience.
SQF, BRC or HACCP certification required.
Experience necessary for
effective job performance:
Must be an analytical thinker with an
ability to perform and review food safety audits.
Should be current on food safety issues and regulations.
Possess the ability to work with other departments,
suppliers, franchise owners, and third party laboratories.
