We are looking for a R&D Corporate Chef to join our fun, dynamic and passionate team and to be a part of something great at our Syracuse, NY facility! 

We pride ourselves on our superior quality standard for our customers and it is your job to meet and exceed those through driving the results of our R&D team to meet the demands of our customers. This exciting opportunity will require a sophisticated palate to efficiently match customer samples, demonstrated experience ensuring bench top samples are successfully translated to full scale production, and expertise in ingredient evaluation.
Reporting to the CEO, this role will lead the R&D function but must be willing to do all aspects from creating bench top samples to managing the bench test schedules and overall R&D function. This role will also play a critical role in the alignment and effective communication between sales, R&D, purchasing, operations, and quality departments during the development of new products or revisions of current products. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating the best product for each customer and seeing it through to full scale production.
Bachelor's Degree in culinary arts and food science, food nutrition, food technology, food engineering, microbiology, biology, or chemistry, is required.  Culinary degree and/or certified CRC or CEC is a preferred. 10 years or more experience in food product/process development, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Prior work experience in manufacturing environment also required.
