Gourmet Food Manufacturer in Virginia Beach is in
need of a Food Safety / Quality Manager. A degree in food science is
preferred. Duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Collect & maintain Certificate of Analysis for
Daily HACCP checks to include net weight checks, metal detector checks,
sanitizer concentration check, quality checks etc....
Microbial testing of process equipment and finished goods
Shelf life testing program.
Employee training & documentation.
Determine root cause and corrective action for customer complaints
Record & track daily / weekly waste.
Review of all food safety and quality documents.
HACCP plan compliance that includes hygiene policy,
product & Ingredient trace-ability, product recall procedure,critical
control point documentation, scale calibration, food security plan,
equipment sanitation program.
Receipt and inspection of raw ingredients.
Assure facility is Kosher compliant.
R & D new product development.
Quality checks of finished product.
Label review of finished goods.
Oher assignments as needed.
Must have a minimum of 2 years
experience in food manufacturing, food science degree is preferred.
Must have your own vehicle, and a drivers
Starting salary $36,000 - $40,000 depending on
