Qualifications:
 
 

  • Education and Experience:
    • M.S or PhD degree in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Food Science/Molecular Biology  or related field
    • PhD with a minimum of 1-3 years’ of relevant experience or  M.S. with a minimum of 2-5 years’ relevant experience
  • Functional Technical Skills:
    • The candidate is ideally someone who has a background and expertise in biochemistry, microbiology, Molecular Biology and/or food science with a relevant experience in the application of fermentation, preservation and bio-transformation technologies.
    • Industrial fermentation expertise and knowledge of Dairy Microbiology is desired but not required
    • Self-Motivated by problem solving and inherent curiosity to understand how things work.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and influence technical direction.
    • Ability to deliver creative and innovative solutions to technical challenges.
    • Ability to leverage their internal & external network of professional contacts.
    • Provide motivation, inspiration, technical mentoring and coaching to develop technical talent.
    • Visionary in seeking out new ideas and opportunities. (internal & external)
    • Ability to manage multiple complex tasks concurrently.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication.
