Quality Assurance Technician - 2nd
TO: Quality Assurance Manager
Kettle Creations, a
division of BEFfoods, Inc.
The Quality Technician
performs testing and record keeping during production to monitor, verify, and
document that customer specifications are being met. He/She provides feedback to Production team members and
ensures that Quality programming and standards are continually met.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be
Test and perform
sensory analysis for applicable raw materials and ingredients prior to use to
ensure no spoilage.
Test and perform
sensory analysis for in-process product to ensure customer specifications are

Document test results
and findings during production.
Provide direction to
Production Team Members when adjustments are needed based upon inspection
Monitor and ensure
that proper GMP practices and sanitation during production is performed.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest,
commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete
variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to
