for managing and maintaining NQMS, FSMS and regulatory compliance with
contract manufacturers. Provides expertise, support, and training to ensure
product quality and food safety. Plan and conduct FSMS audits and follows up
on corrective actions. Support qualification of new sites during innovation
and renovation. Manage consumer complaints and continuous improvement
projects. Manage compliance testing, reporting, and associated
investigations. Utilize tools such as auditing, statistical, process
evaluation, and trend analysis.
• Quality auditing and verification - Plan, conduct, and
provide timely reports of FSMS quality audits. Follow up on corrective
actions from coman audits. Coordinate NQAC lab
audits and p-testing.
• Quality Mastership – Coordinate Quality system implementation and
resolution of issues. This includes incident management, KPI consumer
complaint reporting, exceptional releases of finished goods and continuous
improvement projects collaborating with cross functional teams.
• People and know-how - Contribute to the development of competent quality
professionals at co-manufacturers. Promote quality awareness and commitment
to quality with co-manufacturers teams. Develop, provide and facilitate

• Quality by design - Provides Technical QM support for
innovations/renovations projects in close collaboration with cross functional
• Quality control activities – Manage COAs, record review, and lab results in
support of finished product release. Manage monitoring, reporting, and

• Quality guardianship - Notify appropriate personnel / management of
significant deviations and products blocked. Provide support for product

The Quality Specialist supports cost efficient projects and plays a key role
maintaining compliance in a cost effective manner at co-manufacturers.
This position is required to support qualification of new contract
manufacturing / co-packing operations as being acceptable to manufacture
Nestlé branded products, ensure ongoing compliance to Nestlé and regulatory
requirements, and to develop and implement systems necessary to ensure food
safety and product consistency.
University graduate or equivalent (preferred microbiology, chemistry, food
science, food technology or related discipline).
Exposure to different jobs within the Business unit (production, maintenance,
product development) or within Quality.
Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in Nestle Quality Management,
Manufacturing Operations or Product Development.
Exposure in food processes, project management , and
Knowledgeable in food safety / HACCP, GMPs, Allergen Controls, Sanitary
design/controls, pest control, basic food regulations, and basic food
2. Leadership, interpersonal, and self-initiative skills with ability to set
priorities and delegate activities.
3. Demonstrated verbal / written communication, analytical and problem
solving skills. Must be detailed and results oriented.
4. Experience with SAP / GLOBE and proficient with PC use in Windows based
applications: Word, Exel.
5. Nestlé NQMS / FSMS training, ISO 22000 Lead Auditor training or similar
Food Safety and Quality Systems.
