Responsibilities

  • Product Development Role:
  • Responsible for qualifying multiple SKUís (Cheese & Dairy, Meals, Coffee, Powdered Beverages, Retorted Beverages, and Sauces & Dressings) transferred from current manufacturing locations and either transferred internally or externally.
  • Job complexity involves heavy collaboration with manufacturing facility, Nutrition & Regulatory, Quality, Packaging, and Engineering to ensure that R&D tasks are being completed appropriately.
  • Candidate will be required to execute traditional product development alterations to current products as SKUs, and potentially equipment, are moved to new facilities.
  • Modifications to formulations must produce equivalent products on new or re-located production lines.
  • Depending on SKU, sensory and consumer testing may need to be completed for validation of formulation changes.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Primary product development lead for benchtop, pilot plant, plant trials, sensory, and consumer validation on respective products
  • Working directly with the Sensor and Consumer Science teams to develop testing plans
  • Attending commercialization meetings to represent the project
  • Ensuring all finished goods impacted by the flavor are accounted for and adhere to the established qualification plan
  • Responsible for execution of validation testing
  • Responsible for delivering against timeline
  • Communication with Business Units that are impacted by changes
  • Quality and HACCP documentation

  • Specification execution
  • Multiple Business Unit impacts Additional Details Commercialization processes
  • Travel: 25%-75%
  • Relocation: Potentially available
  • Previous experience in product types described above is ideal 6 months, with possible extension
