The R&D Senior Food Technologist is responsible
for and accountable for collaborating with others to determine the
overall R&D project portfolio and drives execution ensuring effective
resource deployment. In addition, this person will have hands-on
involvement in new product development and will assist in the development
of formulations/processes and people in R&D.
The R&D Senior Food Technologist collaborates
with others in providing overall leadership for product development and
improvement -leveraging emerging science and technology in order to meet
the growth, quality and cost objectives of the business. He/she contributes
technical input to the collaborative development of R&D strategy and
assures that the development pipeline and project portfolio are robust
and aligned with the Company's strategy.
This position requires a four year degree in Food
Science, Food Technology, Food Chemistry, Cereal Chemistry, Food
Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of related experience in DRY FOOD PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT.
Preferably experience in transitioning laboratory formulas to successful
large batch formulas in a manufacturing environment.
GMP, HACCP, AIB, and other appropriate industry and
government agency guidelines and regulations.
