OVERVIEW OF POSITION

The Research and Development Resources Coordinator is responsible for comprehensive communication and support of workflow for our global product/menu initiatives.  The position will provide daily support to the R&D team to help ensure projects run smoothly, are delivered accurately and on time, meeting identified business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide day-to-day support for the development of all global product initiatives to the R&D team
  • Support workflow of projects between R&D, Marketing, Operations, Procurement, along with other key departments
  • Work with the team to draft agendas and subsequent service report documents for Menu Strategy, Stage-Gate and other key R&D meetings
  • Develop and maintain R&D project status report that captures all active projects  and current status
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of products in market globally, both test and production
  • Support the process for product exception requests, documentation and approval
  • Administer day-to-day management of Product Vision Software
  • Partner with Marketing and R&D to ensure current and accurate nutritional and ingredient information is communicated both online, in stores and in printed materials (booklets, packaging, manuals, website, menuboards, etc.)
  • Serve as a resource for execution of product sensory, in-store testing, and other product research needs identified during the development process
  • Execute the review and approval process for packaging mechanicals ensuring the appropriate sign-offs and documentation are in place
  • Provide scheduling and coordination support for product showings, simulations, photo shoots, conferences, large meetings, etc.
  • Provide general support for the R&D teams as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing project workflow and coordination; experience within the QSR and/or CPG preferred
  • Undergraduate degree required (Business, Marketing or Food Science preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Proactive, results oriented
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to move multiple projects forward in a constructive and positive manner
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Customer service oriented for both internal and external partners
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and in high-pressure situations
  • Proven ability to effectively multitask
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)
