Maintain consistency and
credibility of the QA Assessment Program and food safety programs in the
Southern Region (Maryland,Virginia,WestVirginia,North Carolina)at the store level.
Essential Functions of
this Job include but are not limited to:
Conduct random Food Safety Assessments
to ensure Sheetz food safety standandards are
Maximize the development of
internal talent through regular performance coaching, performance
reviews and presenting developmental opportunities.
Align area objectives with the
strategic goals of the department.
Ensure staff meets strategic
goals and objectives.
Maintain communication between
other corporate departments QA Field Compliance Officer, staff and
assigned stores to maintain a comprehensive understanding of programs
& procedures for the purpose of educating staff as to application to
the QA Assessment and food safety programs 6.Report critical information
to the QA Field Compliance Officer on a weekly basis.
Follow up with field staff on
state inspections, product quality alerts/recalls, customer complaints,
and store level emergencies.
Maintain consistent food safety
standards and an objective scoring approach across all stores.
Coach and train field staff on
food safety standards, emergency procedures and recommend processes to
implement changes as needed.
understanding of store level programs & procedures, and coach field
staff and store employees on how they pertain to Sheetz QA Assessment
food safety standards.
Follow up on corrective actions
and preventative actions, state inspections, product quality
alerts/recalls, and customer complaints on a weekly basis and provide
summary reports as requested.
Assist store(s) during water
emergencies, power outages, fires, and other emergency situations to
ensure that we maintain the highest level of food safety standards.
Provide support to the Quality
Assurance and Food Safety Department as needed.

Education (CP-FS Eligibility
To be eligible for the
CP-FS credential exam, a candidate must meet the criteria for A or B as
A. Degree Track: You are eligible for
the credential if you have:
Bachelor's degree in food
science or environmental health from a degree program accredited by the
National Environmental Health Science and Protection Accreditation

Bachelor's degree with at
least two (2) years' experience in food protection
Bachelor's degree and
possession of the NEHA REHS/RS credential
B. Experience Track: You are eligible for
the credential if you have:
An Associate's degree and four
(4) years of progressive experience in food-related work, and successful
passage of the Certified Professional Food Manager (CPFM), Food Safety
Managers Certification Examination (FSMCE), SuperSafe
Mark Exam, or ServSafe exam
High School Diploma or GED and
five (5) years of progressive experience in food-related work, and
successful passage of the Certified Professional Food Manager (CPFM),
Food Safety Managers Certification Examination (FSMCE), SuperSafe Mark Exam, or ServSafe
5 years food safety experience
2 years in a Sheetz Management
Level Position or equivalent preferred
Licenses/Certifications (Required within 6 months of employment):
Certified Professional of Food
Safety Certification (CP-FS)
Basic Advanced HACCP
Valid Driver's License
