We are looking for someone coming out of food manufacturing with HACCP and SQF certification and have experience running quality audits. With proven 2 years experience in the Food industries;

Complete understanding of all FDAregulations; Fully aware of the new rules of FISMA affected in 2018, Understanding all documents require by company customers; and ability to manage both Quality Assurance & Quality Control for the company on a daily basis following our Level 2 SQF certification.

This bakery supplies larger food retailers with their baked goods and is positioned to grow significantly with it's new location in the heart of the NEW Perris manufacturing/warehousing development area.

Easy to access from 215 FWY with a new state of the art facility recently build in November 2016.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Oversee Food Quality, Processes and Control for a 40+ employees
  • Implement, maintain and improve SQF Level 2 (Safe Quality Food) program and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Implement ideas for continuous improvement in QA/QC
  • Must have clear understanding of HACCP, GMP's, SOP, SSOP guidelines
  • Ensure all products are packaged in a safe, quality manner
  • Performs daily finished good quality inspections
  • Performs ATP and Allergen testing
  • Performs internal Quality Audits
  • Coordinate 3rd Party Audits
  • Develop SQF Procedures
  • Train employees on SQF Procedures in every department (Receiving, Baking, packaging, Sanitation etc..)
  • Validate SQF Procedures
  • Able to create NFP and 100gr reports to be transferred to customer software
  • Organized and efficient on CofA's, ingredient specs, affidavits following your guideline
  • Evaluate food safety concerns in facility and implement programs to eliminate hazards
  • Must have excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Must possess basic computer skills and knowledge with an emphasis on Microsoft programs

EDUCATION

  • BS degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology or other science are preferred but not required
  • Certified HACCP, GFSI (SQF; BRC; ISO) helpful
