The Food quality assurance manager will oversee the overall quality and safety of the company's food products.
A degree in a food-related discipline, such as food science, is required to be considered for the job as a food quality assurance manager; however, a graduate degree in a similar field and/or professional experience in food production or other food-related industry.
Quality Assurance Manager: Develops quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses; identifying critical control points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, verification procedures and monitoring inventories. Maintains and improves quality of management for completing product, system compliance, and surveillance audits while collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and manufacturing and training methods. Develops procedures and policies for the company to be in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
