Job Description
We are seeking a Lab Technician with previous quality control experience in the food industry. This position consists of testing and sampling all products and ensuring that we are producing a safe, great tasting, quality product that meets our specifications.

Primary Responsibilities

·         Facilitate HACCP compliance

·         Oversee product sampling and analysis process

·         Participate in microbiological control program

·         Ensure all products meet quality and safety specifications via product testing

·         Calculate adjustments to batches and alter batches to meet specs  

·         Participate in quality and sanitation programs

·         Facilitate regulatory compliance

Job Qualifications

·         B.S. Degree in Food Science or Life Science preferred but not required

·         Previous QC Experience

·         Knowledge of GMP's, SSOP's and HAACP (HAACP Certification a plus)

·         Experience in a food production facility a plus
