The Food Safety Administrator will
posses a solid understanding of the Five Guys
Brand and company practices, as well as a thorough knowledge of food
safety. At the core, this person will be an effective conduit of
information and assistance who can effectively communicate the Five Guys
Food Safety standards, programs, and practices to field staff.
This position works closely with Area Managers,
District Managers, and General Managers to provide them with the knowledge
and tools that they need to correctly execute food safety practices and QA
standards. Additionally, this person leads the Food Safety & QA
department in building programs or communications based on their
understanding of stores’ needs. The primary accountability of this position
will be to improve food safety programs across the system by supporting and
educating District Managers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plans, develops, and manages
all new development within the FS & QA department.
- Oversight and daily
administration of ComplianceMate program.
Manages user access and updates reporting structures as AM/DM
Alignment and assigned stores are revised.
- Serves as point of first
contact for ComplianceMate issues, addresses
and resolves problems, complaints, and concerns. Conducts face to face
meetings with the vendor on a quarterly basis.
- Interfaces with Five Guys’ IT
department on future projects such as integration of Food Safety
programs into new POS system.
- Serves as the company
administrator for the Steritech program.
Manages the reporting and makes adjustments as needed during Area
Manager/District Manager realignment and store assignments. Adds,
subtracts, or deletes user access as appropriate.
- Manages and distributes
weekly (Monday) Steritech reporting. Leads
in the future integration of FS programming into the CRM Reporting
- Works closely with Steritech to manage OnBrand360 site (Steritech website).
- Responsible for setting up
new stores in Steritech and associated
programs. Handles scheduling and announcements as necessary.
- Reviews, approves, and
submits all monthly billing and invoices for Steritech
and SAI Global.
- Performs travel planning for
FS & QA department.
- Works with VP – Food Safety
& QA on long-term department projects.
4 year college Degree preferably in Food Science
2 years of related experience, hospitality/food beverage industry
experience a plus.
