R&D Technical Services
Technical Services Technologist is accountable for managing R&D
documentation system that support product and packaging development through
managing accurate information transfer from benchtop to
commercialization. This role will also help support ongoing ingredient
composition and formula composition reviews through close interaction with
our suppliers and Plum Regulatory. Strong communication is needed, as this
role will interact often with suppliers and the cross-functional technical
team. Assignments are of moderate complexity and technical risk that
could be a part of a larger effort and may be a part of a larger
- Leads Project GIGO (Good-In
Great-Out): establishing technical raw material and finished goods
specifications by collaborating with product developers, packaging
engineers and Quality Assurance
- Verify and maintain accuracy of
ingredient database (R&D Genesis) through collaboration with Quality
Assurance and supplier interface tools to ensure accurate and complete
allergen, nutrient content, and ingredient statement declaration.
- Support on-going maintenance of
supply chain quality management system (GSQA) and resources
planning-data integration system (SAP).
- Coach product developers,
innovation managers and operations on best practices of Genesis, GSQA
and SAP systems where applicable.
- Assist future state of
ingredient and finished products interfaces between GSQA, R&D
Genesis and future system Optiva.
- Support ongoing analytical
needs via close interaction with Campbell Soup and outside labs.
- Communicate closely with
Packaging Development, Product Development, Regulatory Affairs, Quality
Assurance to maintain up-to-date project information and priorities.
- Minimum 1 year in the Food and
- BS Degree in Food Science or
- Basic understanding of FDA and
USDA organic regulations and NON GMO Project Verified rules
- Detail oriented, strong
organizational and communication skills with experience working in
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS
Word, MS Excel, and R&D Genesis.
- Preferred working knowledge of Optiva.
