The incumbent in this position processes requests to
review one or all aspects of food product specifications. These will
include raw material ingredient specifications, product recipes, packaging
specifications, and final product specifications. Incumbent will document
follow up actions needed and close out reviews. Incumbent may also perform
general data maintenance as time permits.
The successful candidate will work well on his/her
own as well as in team situations. He/she will pay close attention to
details and will be proactive in making sure the work is done correctly by
asking clarifying questions when necessary.
Skills and background required are:
- Bachelors degree in
chemistry, nutrition, food science, food technology, or a similar degree
- Some experience in food formulation, food quality,
food safety, food regulation, or similar.
- Superior expertise in MS Office applications,
- Some experience in SharePoint and/or SAP or other
data base software is desirable.
