Food Technician R&D/QC
National Fish and Seafood - Gloucester, MA

 

 

National Fish and Seafood Corp, an established food manufacturer in Gloucester, MA is in need of individuals involved in a number of facets of the R&D and QC department.

Food technician responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Develop Table samples for new products
  • Ensure proper QC analysis in assistance with office manager
  • Sampling of raw materials and finished products for analysis
  • Data Entry and general maintenance of QA data base and various testing logs.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adhere to customer specifications
  • Responsible to maintain complete and accurate records

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, Experience food preparation experience
  • Food Science Associate degree or relevant is preferred
  • Must possess excellent communication skills; be assertive, and able to work well independently and in a group.
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent data entry & computer skills
  • At least one year of QA or food preparation experience is required; experience in food production QA and SQF is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work any shift, weekends and overtime when required.
