Compliance Manager-1500993 - PA-Allentown
Kraft Foods is currently seeking candidates wanting to work in a team environment as a Quality Compliance Manager in their Allentown, Pennsylvania operations. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while improving food safety, sanitation, and quality programs.
The Quality Compliance Manager is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the plants Quality Systems to ensure compliance to Kraft requirements, regulatory, federal, and local laws. The position will provide technical assistance to operations by aggressively managing food safety and compliance systems and by instilling regulatory awareness and commitment.
Key Job Responsibilities:
·Performs fact-based assessments and audits of manufacturing systems.
·Ensures that all records, procedures, packaging, and equipment are in compliance with all Federal, State, and other regulatory requirements.
·Assists in the identification and achievement of facility Quality KPI's through appropriate corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
·Leads site ISO initiatives and participate on Kraft team to insure certification requirements are maintained.
·Assist in the development of new quality systems and personnel to ensure programs are maintained and updated/approved as required. Manage internal and external inspections/regulatory visits.
·Lead audit preparation activities, accompany inspector, complete necessary reports and postings. Performs follow-ups to non-conformances found and provide responses as appropriate.
·Assists in insuring facility is inspection ready at all times, drive housekeeping, GMP and HACCP compliant.
·Manages plant microbiology programs and workforce
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or equivalent degree
At least 4 years of experience in manufacturing preferred
Must possess basic knowledge of ISO, HACCP and FDA requirements
Strong leadership, technical, and communication skills required
Advanced knowledge of quality systems, procedures, & policies
Able to handle multiple assignments, develop work plans, & prioritize
Must be able to work rotating shifts as needed
