Job Description

The Quality Systems Coordinator provides the necessary leadership and technical knowledge to ensure a safe work place in which our Quality Systems, FDA GMP’s, HACCP, and Food Safety processes are implemented, ensuring that regulatory requirements are met in an environment of continual improvement. Responsible for developing the Q&FS training , including facilitating development of training resources and the support of training personnel. Additionally, this position is expected to participate in managing all Food Safety Programs while functioning as the Food Safety Team Lead.

The scope of responsibility of the Quality Systems Coordinator includes:

·     Monitor Regulatory and 3rd Party Audit Compliance

·     Quality System Support

·     Manage Document Management System

·     Manage Auditing Process

·     Provide Customer Liaison Support

·     Other Administrative Duties

Required Skills

·     Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

·     Strong computer skills including SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·     Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects

·     Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy

·     Excellent follow-up skills

·     Ability to work independently to successfully complete assignments

·     Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization

·     Field auditing skills

Required Experience

·     3 - 5 years of experience in a quality assurance position, including working in a manufacturing environment

·     Bachelors degree preferred
