with and enforces all aspects of the Food Safety programs and established
Quality Management Systems (HACCP, SSOP, GMPs, etc.) by maintaining
documentation and records in accordance with company and regulatory
standards. Ensures Quality procedures and company policies are followed by
performing process inspections and that customer expectations are met
through product testing. Assists in research required to develop and document
product standards. Inspects and monitors the production process to ensure
mixing, proofing, baking and packaging activities are in compliance with
established standards regarding time, temperature, speed and weights.
Monitor the accuracy and functionality of metal detectors, scales and
thermometers used throughout the process on an established frequency and
report problems and/or corrective actions. Conducts sampling and inspection
of predetermined products and prepares follow-up reports for management review.
Assist with complaint investigation and follow-up regarding established
corrective actions. Perform other duties as assigned.
