Candidate will be responsible for the execution of all corporate product
quality and food safety programs, ensuring product and processes are
consistent and meet specifications. This includes ongoing maintenance and
improvement of the HACCP, SSOP and SQF programs.
Summary of essential job functions:
Participate in Strategic Leadership,- assist the
long-term range planning and direction for the Quality organization.
Understanding the company vision and business plan and transform into
tangible quality objectives. Drive the execution at plant level.
Responsible for the management/development of 3 Plant Quality Directors and
15-18 techs. This position provides guidance and oversight for the Quality
team in the areas of performance and development.
This includes direction setting, performance evaluations, skills training,
and organizational resource planning.
Ensure appropriate Quality management and Food Safety systems are
maintained and continuously improved.
experience in food manufacturing operations
Bachelor's Degree in Food
Science or Microbiology strongly preferred
USDA, HACCP, and SQF
Excellent organization, time
management, and multi-tasking skills
Knowledgeable in wastewater,
OSHA and labeling compliance
