We are seeking a driven and results orientated New
Product Development Manager who thrives in a culture of growth and

To direct all activities related to New Product
Development in turn providing technical and strategic business leadership
necessary to support the overall product and objective goals of the
customer and the Company. In so doing will develop and implement a
systematic approach to New Product Development working directly with the
customer in order to develop new product formulas, test ingredients,
scheduled trial runs and report test results. The end result being to
assume total accountability for the identification, development, testing
and marketing of a potential new product for commercial introduction.

- Work with sales staff to
understand customer products lines and develop strategies to reduce
- Research products/customers
that REI should work with on development projects
- Coordinate and execute
functional product testing
- Coordinate with management
project priority list and report on progress weekly
Education: At minimum, a M.S. degree in Food Science or equivalent is
preferred. Additionally, should also possess the following:
- Minimum 5 years experience in formulation, QA function
within Food Industry
- Strong knowledge of
industry practices: USDA, FDA, State regulations
- Understanding of
Microbiology and the ability to perform analytical food quality
