ROLE Are you an experienced food product developer passionate about turning innovative research into healthy, great-tasting food? We are looking for food product developers with training in food emulsion systems to bring our ideas from the bench to the market. REQUIREMENTS Ideating, researching, and formulating new ways to combine novel plant ingredients into emulsions-based consumer food products. Sourcing ingredients and developing technical solutions for project objectives. Designing quality control protocols for manufacturing partners. Performing sensory research on prototypes and finished products, including descriptive analysis, shelf life testing, and consumer testing. Managing digital data, documentation, and research and product information. Coordinating product label development in compliance with FDA regulations. Joining a fantastic cross-functional team of food scientists, data scientists, biochemists, culinary scientists, and product developers.

ATTRIBUTES MS in Food Science or closely related field with 2+ years relevant experience post-degree working in food product development and commercialization. Alternatively, BS in Food Science with 5+ years of experience. Expertise in food research and development processes including functionality of ingredients and materials (e.g. hydrocolloids), flavor development, and sensory testing. Real-world understanding of food processing technology. Ability to gracefully coordinate multiple projects. Superb technical problem solving skills.
