Sodexo Magic seeks a qualified Food and Environmental Safety Manager to support the Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts District in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The Manager will be responsible for 41 Food and Beverage units along with 1 large Janitorial Contract at Downtown Disney. This position will be responsible for safety training at all units, working closely with our General Managers to ensure safety compliance. The Manager will also partner with 3rd parties for audits and with our client (Disney Safety Services). This position will often conduct training for large groups - The ability to lead, train and coach employees is a must!!! The ideal candidate will be a self starter with a strong ability to communicate and motivate employees. The park is open year round, so schedule flexibility is required.
CPFS (Certified Professional Food Safety) or REHS (Registered Environmental Health Specialist) certification is strongly preferred.
Ensures corporate and regulatory compliance for the company's quality assurance and food safety initiatives by pro-actively providing technical expertise, training, and support across Divisions at the regional level. This position is also responsible for managing the crisis resolution process in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree in Public Health or a food science related field.
