The QA Auditorís primary responsibilities will be to audit designated areas of the plant. These areas include but are not limited to Shipping, Bakery, Kitchen, Pre-batch, Production and Packaging. Knowledge of departmental SOPís and HACCP are required for all areas of the plant. The audits will consist of assuring compliance to GMPís HACCP, TQC, and USDA guidelines. 


  • Audits/enforce for GMPís, SSOPís, TQC, HACCP and USDA requirements on a scheduled basis.
  • Knowledge of HACCP SOP requirements-make decision based on set procedures.
  • Perform AS400 computer transactions.
  • Write shift summaries. Write weekly reports as necessary.
  • Identify potential food safety issues and involve the proper department leads/supervisors.
  • Identify non-conforming products and audit product for export.
  • Assist In coaching/training of team members for proper documentation, product quality and food safety.
  • Coordinate a sampling plan for products on hold.
  • Record, identify and calibrate thermometers.
  • Perform swabbing as needed.


  • Must pass math test with a score of 75%.
  • High School Diploma and minimum of 2-yearsí experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required. Familiar with AS400 a plus.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP(s), and Food Safety Principles.
