We are seeking a Food Scientist to help us with a scale up operation in Mansfield,Texas. The primary
responsibility of the Food Scientist will be in helping us run SKU
iterations on a start up line. A background in
sensory is highly beneficial as is new product development and manufacturing
experience. The position will run between 8-12 weeks, 5 days a week. Must
be able to train in LA for one week at on-set of assignment.
Bachelor's of Science in Food Science, Food
Technology or Chemical Engineering with experience working in food
Minimum 5 years
Experience running sensory trials
Strong communication skills across departments; will partner closely with
R&D and Marketing.
Formulation experience a plus.
Work with protein, meat and frozen products very beneficial.
A local candidate is preferred.
