 Job Summary: 
Performed duties associated with equipment testing in a pilot plant facility. May provide guidance to temporary undergraduate assistants.

Job functions: 
Conducts hygienic equipment design testing according to ISO 17025 procedures and quality manual under limited supervision
Keeps records of test results and procedures for annual ISO audit
Performs routine tasks such as microbiological media preparation, laboratory maintenance, and equipment cleaning 
Performs other duties as assigned



 Minimum qualifications:
Bachelorís degree in Food Science
Knowledge of microbiological methods and sterile techniques
Knowledge of hygienic design of equipment for food processing
Ability to compile results into a report using MS Word
