Supports product development projects
pertaining to FerraraCandy Company’s business
areas: Brands & Seasons, Private Label, andContract-manufacturing.
Assists scientists in conducting, developing andorganizing
findings on research projects as well as leading own projects andimplementing new production. Conducts lab testing
and prototyping prior toscale up.
To perform this job successfully, an
individual must be ableto perform each essential
various product development projects including, but not limited to:
sugar confectionery, chocolate confectionery, ingredient applications
and mogul depositing technology.
with R&D, Engineering and Manufacturing staff in project
execution, technology transfer, and problem solving
laboratory skills based around confectionery manufacture.
production of lab produced samples to marketing and sales team under
the supervision of R&D Scientists and manager.
records, and evaluates experimental data.
formulation and scale up records.
project status updates directly with scientists and project managers.
in reverse engineering of competitive product and developing
out new processing techniques and science to create and introduce
unique and interesting products to the confectionery industry.
for new ideas on product and process across the product range.
training on lab equipment software systems, and confectionery courses.
both domestically and internationally up to 25%.
adherence to all company policies and procedures.

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry,Food
Engineering or similar scientific field, or equivalent experience
