Our portfolio of products continues to grow, our facility in Springfield, MO has an immediate opening for a Food Technologist.
Food Technologist: Job Description:

-Support new product development as a member of the research and development team.
-Understanding of new product development regarding the utilization of ingredients, seasonings, spices, and flavors to meet directive requirements for new products.
-Ability to research and investigate packaging needs for new products or improvements to existing packaging.
-Ability to research and investigate sourcing of any required ingredients.
-Understanding of product development to ensure adherence to price points.
-Responsible for coordination of product launches by organizing movement through the approval process.
Work with Operations department in scheduling and providing technical support during pant trials.
-Ensure product preparation instructions are correct regarding consumer acceptance, food quality, and food safety.
-Set up, monitor, and report information regarding product shelf life studies.
-Developing connections with vendors to establish future problem solving strategies.
-Ensure product nutritional facts conform with FDA labeling requirements.
-Ensure product ingredient declarations are accurate and conform to labeling regulations.

-B.S. in Food Science / Technology.
