Processing team members work in a modern, temperature
controlled, egg processing facility. This facility includes a processing
room, warehouse and cooler rooms. Computerized machinery cleans,
grades and puts eggs into packaging. Packaged eggs are put into boxes,
placed onto pallets and stored in a cooler. They are removed from the
warehouse and loaded onto a truck. Processing and warehouse employees work
together to ensure orders are made and shipped accurately and in full. Eggs
are processed 7 days/week.

Position Description: The Quality Control position is responsible for performing identified quality assuranceduties such as collecting and interpreting SQF data daily, performing and recording results from all production andpacking line related tasks. Perform and monitor processes to ensure a safe product that meets company, state, andnational standards. To
safely, effectively and efficiently apply over-wrap to packed eggs
according to regulations that protect the consumer and follow government
- Safety First. Understand and follow all
safety requirements, utilizing appropriate safety equipment at all
times. Know and obey all traffic and safety laws/regulations.
- Quality Sampling of shell
eggs, incoming goods (Packaging/Materials), in-line (Pre-transfer) –
Daily, finished goods and barn Samples
- Pre-operative inspections
Cleaning and sanitation procedures
Identification of non-conformities
Work with management to establish corrective actions
- Hazard Analysis Critical
Control Point (HACCP) monitoring
Control Point Monitoring
Critical Control Points
Daily Control Point Log
Daily & Weekly Hygiene Inspections
Safe Quality Food 2000 (SQF)
- Assist with Product Complaint
- Assist with shell egg testing
and data collection (TSS)
- Provided support during
Internal Audits, 3rd party audits, mock recalls, and audit preparation
- Follow Standard Operating
Procedures (SOP’s) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
- Report any food safety and
quality issues/problems to personnel with authority to initiate
- Assist with reconciliation of
corrective actions (audits, inspections, etc.)
