The Food Scientist will provide technical leadership and work in creative applications and product development. The Food Scientist will develop and implement food applications focused on supplement and food products including but not limited to: soups, sauces, proteins, and health products. The Food Scientist will also be responsible for sample design, sample preparation.

  • Formulate basic applications
  • Work effectively with both known and new-to-the-world flavors to design and implement applications
  • Collaborate with project leaders to ensure project goals and workflows align
  • Design and implement product formulations
  • Design and implement products for application pilot studies
  • Liaise with suppliers for sourcing of food ingredients
  • Assist with scale-up and manufacturing of commercial products
  • Maintain a clean and organized lab that complies with all FDA regulations CFR 110 and 111, OSHA and other safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date laboratory and experimental results in approved format
  • Effectively interface with internal and external clients
  • Manage multiple project set ups with different project teams and priorities
  • Provide technical leadership and training to laboratory staff QUALIFICATIONS:


  • MSc in food science or related field, or minimum 3 years industrial experience
  • Proven ability to formulate and create a number of basic supplements and food applications
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Demonstrates outstanding verbal, written communication skills and strong time management skill
