position serves the development of Isagenix
products and ensures successful development, commercialization, and launch of
products that meet project success and business goals. Working independently
and/or with small dynamic groups the position is intended to provide on going support, innovation and stewardship to the
design and development of food and dietary supplement products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
(Other duties may be assigned):
- Understand and direct the
product development process from approved concept through first
- Create and develop product
prototypes in lab independently; Conduct organoleptic evaluation on
prototypes, samples and products; perform data analysis to determine
- Request, review and organize documents
related to ingredients, formulas and products.
- Identify and qualify ingredient
and ingredient vendors, prepare preliminary costing, prepare and review
nutritional/ supplement facts panels and labels, as needed.
- Combine design, business and
engineering skills to create products that meet both market and
- Perform accelerated and
long-term stability study on prototypes and production samples.
- Review formulations, variables
testing, product stability, and other pertinent details in product
- Perform physical and chemical
testing on prototypes, samples and products to characterize, optimize or
- Interpret results and prepare
related reports for internal and external customers as appropriate in a
- Work with cross functional
teams, such as innovation and QA, to set up product specifications and
technical transfer protocol for successful production. As well as,
marketing, label graphics and research & science on structure
function claims, product differentiation and label design ensuring all
information is correct in regards to product formulation and technology.
- Maintain a clean and safe
laboratory environment and assist in coaching and training junior staff
on lab protocols, instruments and product development process.

milestones, timelines and maintain Isagenix
innovation and development advantage by keeping information
Minimum Qualifications (These are the
requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this
- Bachelors of Science Degree in
Food Science, Nutrition, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related
- 1 year of product
design/development or work related experience.
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft
office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal skills,
detail oriented and able to coordinate/manage multiple tasks
- Occasionally work outside the
normal work hours.
- Some travel will be required to
manufacturing facilities, conferences and trade shows.
- Masters of Science Degree in
Food Science, Nutrition, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry.
- Experience in a combination of
ingredient/food/supplement/personal care industries.
