Our Research and Development
Technicians work as a team to ensure that all projects within this
department are completed in a timely manner - doing so while complying
with FDA and NSF facility Standards and Regulations.
Each member of the Research and Development
Team must be willing to take on a few large projects as well as many
small tasks on a daily basis. As a result, they will have the opportunity
to experience a wide variety of developmental projects.
At JW Nutritional, we make primarily
Sports Nutrition and Health and Wellness dietary supplements in powdered,
tableted, or encapsulated forms. The materials that are moved within our
facilities are generally non-hazardous, but some of them do contain
allergens, so please let us know if you have any food allergies.
We are seeking individuals who work
well as part of a team, have nutrition/food/science backgrounds or
education, and who are willing to learn new things at a fast pace. They
must be self-motivated and hard-working in order to complete tasks in a
timely manner. They must be well-organized and have good documentation
skills. Some technicians find themselves working on multiple projects at
one time and must be able to keep track of each one individually to see
it through to its completion.
This position requires little science
experience, but a general understanding of nutrition, flavoring,
excipients, tableting, or encapsulating will be helpful in our
consideration. A firm grasp of mathematics (conversions, basic algebra,
etc.) is necessary, however.
This job is great if you are fresh out
of college with a nutrition, food, or science degree or if you are
looking into a different career path like Food and Nutrition. Starting
pay is hourly and can be discussed at any resulting interviews.
