Corporate Quality Food Safety Manager - Johnson City, TX
-15+ years of experience required.
-Masters in Microbiology required.
-Knowledge of food processing technologies, business administration and
manufacturing principles required.
-Must have excellent managerial, supervisory and team leadership experience.
-Familiarity with food, drug and manufacturing regulatory principles required.
-Must have related quality and food safety experience along with expert
knowledge of food safety including HACCP, cGMPs,
sanitation, recall systems, FDA, Thermal validation and local regulatory
-Must be able to work with little supervision.
-Must have the ability to drive acceptance of new and ongoing programs and
get interdepartmental cooperation.
-Drive the quality and food safety programs in that direction.
-Will actively support the plants front line management and team members in
the execution and continuous improvement of plant food hygiene programs.
-Lead the initiatives to raise quality and food safety concerns to a level of
priority to obtain immediate management response and action.
-Will support, implement, and maintain food safety practices as required
-Supports and represents the company with government agencies, vendors,
customers, and recall activities.
-Responsible for completing job duties in a manner that supports all plant
safety, food safety, quality, and environmental practices at all locations.
-Reports to the Director of QFS.
