Job Description*

The Regional Quality Assurance Food Safety Manager is responsible for managing all regional food safety and quality assurance programs to support Clubs and Club Members in the regional market (30 clubs within MA, NH, ME and OH).  Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Involvement in the following activities: education, training, communication, problem solving, auditing, incident investigation, and emergency response
  • Participating proactively to plan activities, partner closely with other Team Members, and build relationships to lead improvement in the safety and quality of our products and Club Member experience
  • Communicating effectively with regulatory authorities, vendors and other Team Members

Job Requirements *

  • 2+ years of Quality Assurance and/or Food Safety role in food manufacturing, food service, food retailing or as a public health officer required
  • B.S. in Food Science, Human Nutrition, Microbiology or another Biological Science degree
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local regulations and industry best practices related to food safety and quality assurance
  • Thorough knowledge of the FDA Model Food Code, sanitation, hygiene and pest control
  • A proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required
  • Must be detailed oriented and possess excellent organizational skill
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required
  • Travel required
