Technician (Flavors, Food Science, QC)
Lab Support - Branchburg, NJ
- Associate’s degree in a
science discipline OR other appropriate technical qualification (BA
and BS degree considered)
- Basic chemistry skills and
laboratory experience (pH, viscosity, density, moisture content, etc)
- 1-3 years of experience in a
QC environment preferred
- Computer skills with
proficiency using MS Word and Excel
- Good organizational skills
and ability to handle large amounts of data.
- Enthusiasm for lab work and
willingness to learn new skills.
- Perform analytical tests on
in process and finished samples independently and accurately to
support new product and process development
- Carry out scheduled
standardization and calibration of lab analytical equipment.
- Set up and operate standard
lab equipment/techniques of moderate complexity.
- Analyze results and prepare
findings in short summary reports. Construct data tables and graphs.
- Ensure that necessary
laboratory supplies and equipment are available.
- Maintain and record daily
laboratory activities in electronic lab notebooks.
- Offer suggestions for
projects based on hands-on testing and results.
- Operate according to standard
- Independently carry out
assignments and review data for accuracy and trends
- Effectively interact with
cross-function project teams through written and oral communications.
