King and Prince Seafood seeks
an organized, efficient and energetic Food Technologist to join our team.
Produce samples and conduct tests as instructed by Food Scientists and
Culinary professionals. Provide support to all lab personnel. Entry level
Essential Duties and

- Prepare samples as assigned
on a daily basis.
- Simulate Manufacturing
processes in all sample production.
- Collect the appropriate data, maintain accurate records and retain
reference samples for prototype duplication.
- Assist with testing of
prototypes in Manufacturing.
- Prepare or assist in
preparation of products for customers as requested.
- Report any findings in
process limitations during sample production.
- Provide information to
appropriate personnel for project inquiries.
- Establish quality criteria
on competitive samples for duplication
- Assist with research of
current processes, product improvements and/or cost saving
- Assist manufacturing
personnel with data collection to meet quality expectations of new
and existing products.
- Provide support to all
personnel in the Research and Development department.
- Assist in the design and
development of product specifications consistent with manufacturing
- Lead maintenance activities
such as cleaning and organization of laboratory.
- Maintain accurate and up to
date inventories of raw materials.
- Assist all personnel in the
BS – Food Science related
- A Bachelor’s degree in Food
Science or related field
- 2-4 years of product
development experience in a food laboratory preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft
Excel and Word software.
Ability to define problems, collect
data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Product development
experience in a food laboratory preferred: 2 years
