We are the leading manufacturer and provider of food safety, sanitation, and pest control services for the Retail Grocery, Convenience Store, and Quick Service Restaurant Industries. Our Specialists are the face of Chemstar; in this exciting role you represent and provide services to our clients within your specific territory. You will also provide training on the best practices and procedures for environmental health and sanitation. We are looking for individuals that strive for excellence and are eager to learn and grow with the company.Job ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will be responsible for providing food safety and sanitation services to a series of retail grocery stores in a specific territory. You will assess food safety and sanitation practices in a retail grocery store, record the information, develop an action plan on how to improve compliance, and provide training where and when necessary.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision and color vision. The employee must be able to perform physical work in a wide variety of indoor conditions, i.e., wet, hot, or cold. Specific duties: Completing daily route, which includes visiting specific retail grocery stores;Performing Food Safety and Sanitation Audits in retail grocery stores;Identifying issues and recording information in Chemstar Electronic AuditUsing technology to enter data and generate Actionable Summary Reports;Reviewing Actionable Summary Report with Manager on Duty;Providing Field Training to customer Associates.Conducting Field Training including but not limited to: adherence to Customer Standard Operating Procedures and proper use of Sanitation Chemicals; Developing and maintaining good rapport with client employees;Servicing all Chemstar Equipment and calibrating such equipment when necessary; Traveling daily in a designated territory and up to 20% overnight travel as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Required education:

  • High school or equivalent

Required experience:

  • MUST have Food Safety Knowledge, Preferred CP-FS Certified, Mechanical skills: 1 year

Required license or certification:

  • Driver's License
