The Specialist performs
as a member of a work team that works semi-autonomously to achieve process
area goals. Responsible for the attainment of Safety, People, Quality,
Cost, Service, and Sustainability goals set for the Department.
Responsible for cleaning,
sterilizing, maintaining, efficiently operating assigned processing
Specialist work is
strenuous in nature requiring lifting, pushing and pulling forces over 50
lbs. The work environment is hot, cold, wet, noisy and dusty at times.
The ideal candidate
will have a working knowledge of the brewing processes or will have
experience working in food/beverage manufacturing. Specialist
contributes to work place by performing all tasks in accordance with OSHA,
EPA, FDA, GMP, Lock out/Tag Out/Try Out safety rules, codes, policies, and
regulations and Confined Entry policies. Specialist works in a
flexible team environment, and must be able to make responsible decisions
regarding the task with minimum supervision.
Specialist must be
familiar with World Class Manufacturing and its philosophies. Specialist
must understand best practices of EH&S, 5S, Focused Improvement, Visual
Performance Measures, and Team work.
