Manager Quality Assurance

*The Corporate Quality Assurance Manager*, Audits and Regulatory shall review and monitor Lakeside Quality Systems to assure compliance to ever changing US food laws through review and monitoring of food safety systems, preventative controls, corrective action programs, documentation practices and maintenance and testing of company’s recall plan. This position shall provide support to the Corporate Quality functions through support in regulatory affairs, auditing, managing vendor approval processes and participating in food processing safety verification activities. Additionally, this position will be responsible for Key Performance Indicator reporting, support to new label development and approval processes, maintenance of databases that facilitate efficient department performance, the development of standard operating procedures and document control, providing training support, provide oversight and support to contract packers and Lakeside Distribution Centers and provide support to the product and process development functions as necessary.

Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science or related field or equivalent work experience is required. Five years of relevant job experience is preferred.
