Quality Assurance Manager
C.J. Foods Inc. - Lincoln, NE


Lead a quality and food safety team to develop training programs, administer GMPs, quality standard & system audits, and recommend changes. Work with our customers to analyze consumer complaints and design a resolution plan. Administer HACCP system. Ensure reporting of data and maintenance of records. Coordinate execution and follow-up of regulatory internal and external audits with FDA, USDA, State, AIB, Corporate, etc. Manage micro-biological, environment, and finish product verification programs.

Work with analytical instruments such as NIR, Aw meter, Computrac misture analyzer, calipers, mycotoxin test equipment, pH meter, laboratory weigh scales, vacuum chamber for seal checks, thermometers and other equipment.

Provide direction and leadership to a team that welcomes an expert that is quality and food safety focused, with the ability to mentor and train.
Minimum education requirement – Food Science or similar degree, with 5 years’ experience in food related field, preferred. Plant Quality experience preferred. Experience in quality and regulatory may be substituted for education when supported by formalized training. Supervisory experience required.
