Position Summary: Under limited
supervision researches, gathers data, develops preliminary findings and
prepares written reports for the development of new products beginning at
conception through successful commercialization. Contributes to the
creation, maintenance, and review of integrated recipes for new or existing
items that include: specifications, materials, formulas, equipment, quality
and process information for R&D, plant, co-pakers
and suppliers. Develops project timelines, creates technical
proposals and reports and makes recommendations.
knowledge of business and interacting with cross-functional team,
prepare plans and lead execution against broad technical platforms and
significantly, directly, and continually to the attainment of results
through the generation and application of advanced technical

integrated recipes using SAP, ARAS, Oracle, GENESIS, Product Vision,
or other programs as needed, as well as the process for the
manufacture of product.
plan to collect analytical data to support NLEA Labeling requirements,
and implements nutritional labeling claims or certification processes
as needed on new or existing products.
product development schedules that are required to meet project
plant trials and new product start-ups independently
with cross functional team including sales, marketing, finance,
packaging and brand design, procurement, and manufacturing.
in Food Science or related field required. MS preferred
5 years experience
in Product Development or related field in a Food Company required
in grain-based/cereal technology or milling science, preferred.
ability to autonomously manage multiple projects simultaneously.
understanding of food industry standards of quality and foods safety,
and FDA regulations.
leadership and proactive attitudes in approaching technical solutions
to business and market issues.
ability to propose and persuade new research direction to address the
business needs of the corporation.
exceptional competence over a sustained period as evidenced by
specific technical accomplishments.
in Microsoft Office Products.
to 25% travel including flying in US, possibly overseas. Must be
able to travel independently and as a responsible ConAgra Foods, Inc.
