Natural Food Works provides outsourced, contract food manufacturing for natural and organic food businesses. Founded in 2013, we have exceeded first year growth plans and will soon be adding a third facility in the Denver area. We partner with food brands that are beginning to achieve high volume scale in their production needs. What You Will Do:
The Quality Coordinator provides leadership and guidance to the plant team in the areas of Food Safety, Product Quality, Sanitation Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices. The Quality Coordinator is responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements; conducts audits, reviews/analyzes data and documentation, completes product testing and provides feedback to the plant team about quality issues. This role will report to the Quality Director and will work closely with the Plant Manager and plant team members.
Who You Are:
have 2+ years of experience in the food manufacturing industry. It is
required that you have a background in Quality/Food Safety, with some
knowledge about HACCP, FDA, USDA, SQF, Gluten Free/Organic/Kosher
certifications preferred. You have basic math skills as well as basic
computer skills and are familiar with Microsoft Office software applications.
You have strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions,
processes and procedures. You work well both independently and as part of team.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills,
can interface professionally with internal staff and customers in person and
in email and you have a strong ability to address and resolve conflict.
