looking for a Food Safety and Quality Specialist to join our team at
our bakery operations in Indianapolis, IN.

The Food Safety and
Quality Specialist will focus on continuous improvement across all the food
safety and quality systems at Clif Bar Baking
Company. This position will ensure a high level of employee safety,
food safety, as well as acting as the official back up for the Food
Safety and Quality Manager. The Food Safety and
Quality Scientist will ensure compliance with Clif
Bar Baking Company standards and procedures for sanitation, government, and
third party regulations. This position will be the lead person for
meeting the requirements of SQF.

Strong understanding of manufacturing and food safety requirements to

Knowledge of Safe Quality Foods (SQF) audit system
Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) methods and

Experience with previous manufacturing plant or line start-ups a

in an organic food manufacturing environment preferred.
degree in science or a related field preferred
Minimum 5 years
of food safety and quality experience in a production facility,
preferably in a food processing plant.
