$300 - $500 a day – Contract
If you have been working in food service, and you are looking for something different with regular hours, then this is the job for you. Our Food Safety Trainer is a position of passion for the industry and the people we serve. We provide the knowledge to restaurant managers and owners so that people can have a safe dining experience. The Food Safety Trainer is responsible for the effective delivery of training programs to our students.
Full training is provided along with continuing education programs. As a growing company, there is a lot of room to grow within the company. This is a contract position and will be based in in a region of Illinois.
Our ideal Food Safety Trainer will possess the following: A high school diploma At least 2 years of experience in restaurant supervision or management; fast-food, fast-casual, or full-service restaurant experience OR 2 years of teaching / training experience in aneducational setting ServSafe® Manager Certified or able to pass the ServSafe® Manager Exam Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear and professional demeanor Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize with efficiency A personable, friendly and outgoing personality Initiative, drive and a self-starting work ethic Ability to lead, motivate, and manage clients and students A love for the restaurant business and desire to improve the guest experience.
The Food Safety Instructor will need to commit to a minimum of 2 classes per month. Class dates will be flexible and can take place on either on weekdays or weekends.
Fluency in Spanish is ideal

Salary: $300.00 to $500.00 /day
