This position has the responsibility and authority to: support the deployment, maintenance, evaluation, and improvement of systems that regulate and assure the production of safe quality products; deploy, maintain, monitor, evaluate and improve the product quality control activities performed by the QA laboratory and other operational individuals; coordinate work with other QA and food safety support personnel; and supervise the work of QC technicians.
This position shall have the responsibility to report problems with the food safety management system to identified person(s).
This position has the responsibility and authority to initiate and record actions.
This position will maintain and monitor systems that assure compliance with and have the ability to perform analyses to standards as described in Cargills GLP Program (equivalent to those as described ISO 17025).
This position will be schedule to work in the Third Shift.
- Perform quality control product clearance task. Maintain and monitor the
product clearance system, including maintaining a manual of written product
clearance procedures. Coordinate and supervise all laboratory quality control
systems and product/process verification systems, including sampling
procedures, analytical tests and procedures, documentation and reports, needed
to assure that all products are produced according to specified quality and
food safety requirements.
