Boulder is currently looking for an R&D Technician to join their team.
They're at the top of their industry and have a wonderful work environment.
This position is a 3-4 month contract with the possibility of extension or

AS or BS in Culinary Arts
and/or Food Science or a related field from accredited institution.
Equivalent background and
experience in food manufacturing/ or culinary work.
Ability to multitask in a high
performance, cross functional, and team based company culture.
Ability to assist in
development of culinary protocept and
commercial prototype recipes with an understanding of food production
Strong computer skills and
ability to pick up new techniques and software quickly.
Exceptional interpersonal and
written/verbal communication skills.
Highly organized and able to
record and maintain details.
Strong knowledge of food safety
& kitchen safety principles.
Skills & Responsibilities
Assist Research and Development
team in product development work including:
procuring & maintaining
maintaining organization of
kitchen/lab work areas
planning for new recipe development
sessions and creating samples.
Support internal culinary and
R&D activities including:
recipe development and
planning and presentation of new
product prototypes to multidisciplinary team.
Support external R&D
preparation and planning for
scale up at manufacturing plants and
Conduct shelf life studies and
heating validation studies/develop product cooking instructions.
Assist team with sample
procurement and shipment.
Demonstrate precise, expedient,
organized, and efficient work.
Coordinate and communicate
technical product information to other departments.
Entry level position, little to
no experience. Food manufacturing experience a
Primary function is assisting
R&D, learning company R&D standards and process.
