Consumer Food Safety Field Specialist - Sioux Falls, SD SDSU Extension is
offering an exciting career opportunity as a 45% time
Consumer Food Safety Extension Field Specialist. We are looking for an
individual to join us in growing and building our regional extension center
located in Sioux Falls, SD by successfully engaging the public and bringing
research to practice. The department actively seeks to increase social and
intellectual diversity among its faculty. Women and persons
underrepresented in higher education are especially encouraged to apply.
Minimum requirements: Master’s Degree in Nutritional Sciences, Health Sciences,
Public Health, Horticulture, Animal Science, Meat Science, Dairy Science,
Food Science, or other closely related field completed by date of hire. Master’s degrees that
may enhance undergraduate degrees may include, but are not limited to,
Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Health Science, Education, or Agriculture.
Must have excellent verbal and communication skills and be able to use a
personal computer. Must have a valid driver’s license, or ability to
obtain within 30 days of hire and a willingness to travel. Salary
