We are looking for candidates with a background in Food Science or related fields, with knowledge of food safety, microbiology and food regulations. Position is open for food science graduate program students or for anyone with prior experience/background in food science or related field

 

         Basic understanding of FDAs food regulations, general food microbiology and HACCP guidelines

         Strong communication and written skills

         Focused and detail-oriented

         Ability to prioritize and multi-task Preferred:

         Masters degree or Bachelor's degree in food science or related program

         Work with third party laboratories to test food and related products for safety and quality compliance

         Review, analyze and investigate testing/inspection reports of food and related products

         Assist in creating product specifications for company's private label brands as a standard for all existing and new suppliers to comply, thereby ensuring uniform, safe and high quality products

         Assist in managing Recalls
