- Hands-on working

- Travel up to 50%
to support the scaling up in commercial plants.
- Conducts basic
research for the improvement of existing products and the development of
new products, outlining procedures and specifications.
- Studies methods
to improve quality of food such as flavor, color, texture, nutritional
value, convenience, physical, chemical and microbiological composition of
- Documents all
research notes in lab books and computer database.
- Completes project
requests issued by the sales personnel within the time frame required by
- Confers with
process engineers, flavor experts, sales staff, suppliers, customers and
packaging and marketing specialists to resolve problems.
- Conducts in-house
customer presentations and serves as representatives at trade shows.
- Trains new
people, demonstrating lab safety, procedures and techniques.
- Employs efficient
time management techniques performing all the required work in a
reasonable time frame.
- Assists customers
with technical issues that may arise.

- Bachelor’s Degree in
Food Science, Food Engineering, Process Engineering, Gain Science or
Milling Science or related discipline. - Gain Science or Milling Science
